Lorna and Carl

Cantaloupe grown with the aid of a solar cone. Cantaloupe can not be grown normally in the cool valley of Twin Brooks Farm.
Twin Brooks Farm is located in Lewis County, Washington in a lush valley along Lucas Creek in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Lucas Creek runs approximately east to west; the twin brooks come down from the north, one to the east and one to the west. The rainfall promotes a variety of native trees and fruits to flourish. Organic vegetables are grown in raised beds year round with the help of solar cones. A two mile trail, the Twin Brooks Trail, is good for exercise and for communing with nature.
We thank Bruce Weiskotten www.panearthdesigns.net, permaculture landscaper for his permaculture transition adviceĀ for our farm. Please call 360-262-3169 or email twinbrooks@lewiscounty.com for WWOOFing, SERVASĀ or if you have questions.
